Are you feeling like you need help with getting back on track in life?
As women, we sometimes put our own needs last. We are always tending to others, whether it be our families, friends, or coworkers.
And while there’s nothing wrong with being a giving person, sometimes we need to take a step back and focus on ourselves.
If you’ve been feeling off-balance recently, or like you can’t seem to catch a break, it might be time to start getting back on track.
For the past few months, I have not been focusing on myself. Between working a full-time job then coming home and being a full-time mom, I haven’t put much effort into myself lately.
Slowly but surely, I have fallen off routines that I had in place for myself and I don’t even know what self-care is anymore!

I haven’t been eating the best and I’ve been too exhausted to even think about exercise.
Literally, my days go something like this: Wake up at 5:45 am, pray and meditate, get myself ready for work, get the boys ready for school, leave for work at 7 am. Work until 5:30 pm.
Get the boys from after school program, help with homework, cook dinner, take showers and brush teeth, get school clothes and necessities ready for school and work the next day, go to bed by 9:30 and do it all again the next day.
The struggle is real.
We all have felt the pain of giving up or not putting in the effort to get our lives back on track.
It’s hard, but it doesn’t have to be impossible.
In this blog post, we will go through some steps for getting your life reset and feeling accomplished again!
What Does Getting Back on Track Mean?
Getting back on track is getting your life organized again. It’s finding purpose and meaning in what you’re doing, and getting back to your old routines or creating new ones.
For me, it means getting up earlier in the morning, eating better foods, exercising regularly, being more spiritual, and spending more time on self-care.
It doesn’t mean that my life is perfect now or that everything is suddenly going to be easy. But it does mean that I am taking steps towards becoming a healthier and happier version of myself.
How Do I Start Getting Back On Track?

Are you feeling like you’re not living your life to the fullest? Are you stuck in a rut and don’t know how to get out?
If you’re feeling lost or like you don’t know where to start, these tips will help you get organized and focused!
Evaluate Your Current Situation
The first thing that you should do when getting back on track is to evaluate your current situation.
What needs work? Where are the holes in your life right now?
Start by writing a list of things or areas in which could use some improvement, such as spiritual health, physical health, mental and emotional health, financial well-being, personal goals/aspirations/needs.
Answer each question honestly without worrying about how it sounds or if someone will judge you for what you write down.
This is YOUR LIFE we’re talking about here!
It’s important to be real with yourself so that you can properly identify where improvements need to be made and create a plan around getting them done.
Create a list of your priorities and prioritize them

Now that you have a list of areas in which you need to improve, it’s time to create a list of priorities.
What is the MOST important thing for you right now?
What do you NEED to focus on first and foremost?
For me, getting back into shape and improving my physical health is my number one priority at the moment.
This means I am going to be eating better foods, exercising more, and drinking plenty of water!
Other people might prioritize their mental or emotional health before anything else, while others may want to focus on getting out of debt or increasing their income.
It’s up to YOU to decide what your priorities are and put them in order from most important to least important.
Schedule time on your calendar to work on your priorities, including exercise and family time.
Create an action plan that is specific and realistic
Now that you have your priorities, it’s time to create a plan of action.
What is going on in each area of improvement? How will getting back on track affect those areas? For example:
– Eating better foods means getting rid of junk food and focusing more on fruits/vegetables/proteins/healthy fats etc.
I can also work out at least three times a week for 30 minutes each session.

– Getting into shape physically means getting up earlier so that I have enough time to work out before getting ready for work, as well as packing my snacks the night before so that I don’t skip meals or make unhealthy choices when hungry!
Set small achievable goals for yourself that you know you can do.
Be realistic about what you can accomplish in a single day – if there are too many things on your plate, break them down into smaller steps and tackle them one at a time.
Follow through with your action plan, even if it’s hard!
Find an accountability partner who will help keep you motivated and on track
This can be a friend, partner, or family member who will help keep you accountable and hold you to your promises.

This person should also give you encouragement when times get tough!
If getting back on track is something that you’re doing for yourself (and not because someone else wants it), then make sure this person knows what they are getting into before getting started.
Getting back on track won’t happen overnight – if anything, it’s going to take time and lots of hard work in order to accomplish everything that needs fixing!
But don’t let mistakes along the way stop you from reaching success. Celebrate every little win no matter how small by congratulating yourself or finding ways to reward yourself.
Schedule some “me” time during the week so you can recharge before tackling another busy day

This can be anything from taking a relaxing bath, reading your favorite book, getting a massage, or spending time outside in nature.
Just find something that helps you relax and de-stress so you can come back stronger the next day!
Celebrate the small victories along the way – they’ll keep you going!

Getting back on track can be tough, but it’s definitely worth it in the end!
Make sure to stay positive, focus on the progress you’re making rather than perfection, and take things one step at a time.
And most importantly, don’t forget to celebrate those small victories along the way. They’ll keep you going when things get tough!
Good luck getting your life back on track – you can do it! :)”
Final Thoughts
It can be so easy to get off track in life. But it doesn’t have to stay that way!
With some time and effort, you can reset your priorities and find yourself on a new path.
We’re all going to have moments where we don’t feel like ourselves and need a reset.
Whether it’s your schedule, diet, or mindset that needs an adjustment. The next step is figuring out what path will lead you there.
No matter where you are now, it’s never too late to start fresh by getting back on track with your goals!
